Did you know you can manage repeat prescriptions from Hartland Way Surgery in the NHS App?
You can easily choose where your prescriptions are sent. So, if you know you’ll be away from home or you are moving home, you can change your nominated pharmacy from within the app.
You can also order your prescription at any time that suits you. Thereâs no need to wait to join a telephone queue or wait until the GP surgery opens.
Itâs easy to use, and, if you hit a snag, you can go to âHelpâ in the top right-hand corner of the app or visit nhs.uk/helpmeapp.
Find out more about the NHS App at:Â www.nhs.uk/nhsapp
If you are unable to use the NHS APP you can submit a request via our Accurx Online Triage System or call the practice and a member of staff will put through the triage request on your behalf.
The digital options mentioned above are the safest and quickest way to contact us, for both patients and the practice. If you are unable to access our digital options, please drop in a paper prescription request and our reception team will put through the request for you.
Please note, we are unable to take prescription requests over the telephone.
The Practice aims to process all routine prescriptions within 72 working hours. If your prescription requires a review or is complex, your request may take longer to process. Please allow this extra time to make sure you do not run out, and to avoid having to push prescriptions through quickly, to the disadvantage of others.
If you do experience any technical issue with the NHS APP, or if you need any help with the setup, please let us know and we will assist.
