We are a Training Practice!

We are pleased to announce that Hartland Way Surgery is now an accredited Training Practice involved in the training of GP Registrars, these are qualified doctors who have extensive hospital experience and intend to make general practice their specialist career. They join the practice for six months or a year to gain more experience. During this time with us the GP Registrar becomes an integral part of the team and a great resource for patients.

We currently have a GP Registrar who joined the team on 1st February 2023 and will be with us for six months.

As well as GP Registrars, we also support the training of both Medical and Physician Associate. Often students will be taking part in consultations, you of course have the opportunity to decline, please let the clinician know.

Your co-operation is extremely valuable and much appreciated and it will be essential to the students who are going through a very important part of their training.

We believe that achieving and maintaining training Practice status enhances the quality of the medical care we provide and allows us to benefit from the fresh ideas and approaches brought by young and enthusiastic individuals.
